i ACT journey

My job as a long-term volunteer is connected with the ïACT” project and the LAND community that is currently growing and developing around Europe.
For me, this is really important because I have the opportunity to be part of the process that started a year ago and is going to continue many years after. If you are not familiar with the “iACT” and LAND network, you can check the links and resources that are provided below:
https://www.permaculture.org.uk/iact/places-transforming-communities-iact

“The Places Transforming Communities Project (iACT) exists to increase the number and quality of sites across Europe demonstrating practical sustainable living to the public. Seven partner organizations have collaborated to develop a set of tools, resources, good practice examples, and courses to help you build your permaculture place or regenerative project.”

As a result of the work that has been done by these organizations,  I have been tasked with the responsibility of translating the “iACT & LAND Centres Handbook” Guide so as to be available for the Bulgarian organizations that would like to be part of their network and for their sites and locations to be able to function as well as demonstration camps and bases for workshops.

Here you can read more information on the subject – https://pab.greenschoolvillage.org/week-8/

And finally, I would like to share with you a live example from a place that is currently functioning- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWYLQG6ygiQ&ab_channel=GreenSchoolVillage

You will miss a lot if you don’t look at the other videos on the channel. There are videos about 5 different LAND places, and we are hoping soon to have similar videos about such places in Bulgaria.

Next week I will tell you more about the guide I’m working on.

Greetings,

Madlen
