The Bees‘ Garden is the meeting point between a traditional beekeeping farm and a biodiversity garden.
We designed a permaculture garden full of biodiversity by combining local bushes that blossom in different seasons with perennial flowers and a family food garden, with guilds under the fruit trees. The design also includes two yurts.
The first yurt has a demonstration space buzzing with the sounds of the beehives. It features a pedagogical bee house, a small library, and a mini shop with products from the farm. The garden sign is also there to immerse our visitors, welcoming them into the bees’ world. By using a cognitive approach, we believe that it creates a lasting memory of the experience. The second yurt has a winter garden, and space for practicing permaculture gardening.
On the farm, we host different activities and experiences centred around biodiversity, pollinators and the relationship between humans and nature.
